Deposition's?
Does anyone know if you give a deposition and the next day remember something that corrects what you stated as fact if you can admend the deposition or what? I had to give one Wednesday and the next morning when I woke up I realized a mistake I had made and emailed my attorney explained the error and requesting a correction. Is this possible or will it work against my case?

Make sure you talk to the attorney asap. Don't rely on email.
When you give a deposition, you are given a chance at the end of the depositon to read it or waive your right to read it. You or your attorney can call the court reporter and say you want to read it which means that prior to it being typed up (if it is ever ordered) you will have a chance to read it and correct anything that is wrong - whether it is due to a typo or a factual mistake you made. The other side can take your deposition about testimony you change but that is pretty unlikely unless it's on something big like, the light was red vs. green. I am sure your lawyer will just tell the court reporter that you will read the transcript if it is ordered.
I'm sure as long as you were being truthful when you were giving the deposition, you were doing the right thing. When you remembered some thing you let your attorney know so that they can have that information as well, I'm sure that your going to be alright.
Please do call the attorney to make sure that they got the information, you need to be sure that they did get this. It will also help to settle you mind that every thing is going to be just fine. Do not count on the attorney having read the e-mail, make sure with the phone call.
Depositions are extremely important, so that they can have all the information when it is needed. They know that people can forget things, after all your only human. Like I said just make sure that they got the information.
