Arnold's somewhat all over the map on this. He's said he has no problem with homosexuality. He's also said that Prop. 22, where the people voted that marriage should be between one man and one woman should be respected because it was a vote of the people that enacted that.
well you cant be too sure based on what he says now. Remember, he went from actively endorsing Hummers in 2001 to being the hero of all the green movements after getting elected-with all that committment to solar power and hydrogen fuel cell car mumbo jumbo. But anyway the other guy knew what he was talking bout. So take his advice
I have a 55 year old work mate who was born with both male and female sexual organs. The doctors recorded this as a male on the certificate of birth yet he has the parts to also have a child. (Pregnant.)
I recall reading about a married women who half way through life discovered that although externally she was a women internally she was a male. She recalled as a child how she was out standing at sport. She has XY Chromosomes where as a women has YY. (That of the top of my head.)
These two people and the many others who have other differences all raise the question.
What is a man and what is a women?
While its easy to say mine is an easy question to answer in reality despite us claiming to be advanced in all things science, we still cant even decided if the above two people are male or female.
So while we cant decided who is the male and who is the female, where do we get off telling a small minority that their relationship and bond is not good enough to be recognised under the laws of the land.
