If abortion is outlawed, does that mean that there's going to have to be a criminal investigation...?

... whenever a woman has a miscarriage, just to make sure that's it's REALLY a miscarriage?

Answers:
Good question. Though there would be no more abortion clinics, there will probably always be back-alley procedures done.
You'd think that women who were pregnant and planned to terminate wouldn't advertise their condition, though. If no one knew...well, no one would know. If they did advertise, however, and one day they just weren't pregnant anymore, yeah, probably, there would be an investigation.

And, Guffee...get a grip. The asker did not say abortion was right or wrong. Chill out.
Could be but some doc. will make more money.
interesting thought. i'd say it's possible. i doubt every miscarriage would be investigated, but some could be.
Is there a criminal investigation every time a person dies? No. So, why would you think that it'd be different for pregnancies?
Good question, dunno. at the least, I'd expect a medical professional's perception... but then, how could the legal system feel confident trusting the doctor? What if the doc is pro-choice?
Let's prosecute the all the women who have miscarriages and the fathers also. Let's not stop there, anyone using birthcontrol is preventing a life, that should also be a crime.
