Does moussaoui deserve the maximum penalty under the law?

I don't want are you for or against the death penalty nor do I want the "death penalty for him would make him a martyr" type answer. What I mean is were his crimes worthy the maximum sentence or the lesser sentence that he got?

Answers:
He should have gotten the maximum penalty.
I believe that life in a supermax is worse than death.
Yes I think HE does!
No. He should serve his time in Mayberry and have Aunt Bea bring him a homecooked meal every day. There is no punishment in this lifetime sufficient for an evil person like him.
i think what they gave him is best. he made others suffer and when you get the death penalty you dont suffer.life in prison is alot of suffering
They say that his involvement with 9/11 was "minimal", whatever that means. So, maybe he just deserves jail. I really feel like killing him will not be a deterrent to terrorism, since those guys aren't afraid to die anyway. And what is the death penalty if it's not a deterrent? It's just murder.
No. He is a terrorist, and therefore, should be executed. And make it brodcasted so those terriorst a-holes can see whats u=in store for them. God knows that he played a part in over 2,000 deaths, and even if a small part, had any American done it (McVeigh?¿?) that they would be executed!
i think life is worse than death because then he has to suffer from the guards, and not having anyone else to talk to or communicate with
He probably deserves it but, that's not the point.
Giving him the death sentence would only have made him a martyr to his cause, further inflaming the war on terror, and potentially resulting in retaliation from Al Qaeda.

Besides this, do you really think someone involved in suicide bombings would be worried by being sentenced to death. He once claimed that being sentenced to death would have been a great honour.

Life imprisonment is a great sentence, because it means he will probably fizzle out into the realms of nothingness in history... which is exactly what he deserves!
Not sure what the answer is in this case, but here's to wondering if we'll hear about this guy soon having been repeatedly sodomized by his fellow inmates and then fed a half pound of bacon before having his noggin' bashed in with the business end of a mop handle...hypothecially speaking of course.
That man is crazy. I think he would be better served in a mental institution. I don't really think he's as fanatical as it seems. Either way, I guess it's one more loon off the streets!
How long do you really think he's going to live in a American prison?

Once the other inmates find out who he is and what he did, he'll be as good as dead. The death penalty is the cheap way out I personally would like to see him get life in solitary confinement, if it's possible. That way he'll go nice and crazy and the ghosts of all the people he helped to kill can haunt him and eventually- hopefully he'll just kill himself.

Who says the system doesn't work? That sick bastard's gonna get what he deserves.
My first reaction when i heard the news of the twin towers, what has America done to deserve this, the answer, a bond with Israel and a total disregard for Muslim interests. The big stick came out in retaliation. We need to sit down and talk. Iraq and Afganistan are both a death bed for your guys and ours, a second Vietnam, it can only get worse. Hell you guys showed that when you shoved us out and gained a nation, my message, Talk, forget Israel, and talk with who supplies your oil and who is killing your and our troops day by day
he deserved to be executed by a military tribunial and the criminal justice system did not have any business getting envolved and giving him rights he did not have as a prisoner of war.

But living in a 7 by 12 foot concrete cell for the rest of his life, will be a hell also
