The punishment for "rape" is execution in Iran. What's your idea about it?

rape is an act of sexual wildness by a man, he doesnot realise what it does to the person who is undergoing the rape. raping a girl, literally causes her to lose her self worth which is what every person needs in themselves. the lose of self worth causes the girl to lose the want to live, which is equvalent to killing her. if that be the case is it not equivalent to murdering her?? hence it is my firm feeling that the person who does the rape should be given the atmost punishment & should be tried in the court of justice for murder. so i conclude that execution is befitting for an act as cruel as rape.

I think execution is a bit much. I believe an appropriate amount of jail time for the severity of the crime. Maybe give them the option of jail time or castration with no jail time.
Good punishment. If they had more severe punishments like that in the states for rape/murder we'd be paying less on taxes or atleast they'd be going towards something more productive than keeping murderers/rapists alive. Any liberals opposed to this can keep their opinions in their asses where they belong.
That doesnt surprise me with Iran.
Idea about rape or execution? I thought in Iran, the victim of rape ( generally a woman) would be stoned to death as per the Islamic code and the perpetrator of the rape is glorified. Anyway, proving rape according to Muslim law is difficult as four persons should attest to the penetration.
Rape in whichever country is reprehensible and the rapist must be castrated.
If there is concrete evidence than by all means execute however I have known on three separate occasions separated by years and thousands of miles of women crying rape on friends of mine only to have the truth come out ( They felt guilty or bored or were slighted). Many not all women use the victim ploy as a weapon against innocent men causing truly victimized women do be doubted and questioned unnecessarily
I kinda like what the ancient Romans did. First offense the rapist would have their testicles crushed between two stones...second offense castration.third .death , (and I would suggest the method of execution be the first two punishments combined and repeated until the desired result) But that's just me.Oh and BTW...ALL these punishments should be public , and televised much like our "state of the union addresses" that are broadcast on EVERY channel so that one has no choice but to watch or turn the T.V. off(and we all know how hard that is !)
I think that rapists and pheodaphiles should all have the electric chair no-matter where they live in the world the sick b*st*rds!
I hate all sexual twisted freaks like that who think there is no wrong in what they do, although some know it is wrong and still go ahead and do it to innocent people which are the ones who should be totally-tortured! And I do mean tortured but I can't go into detail on this site.
The woman also get punished as well, or didn't you know that
