Is it legal for a 17 yr old to date a 24 yr old in texas?
17 yr old has run away to live w/ 24 yr old wondering if mother has any standing. i believe 17 is consentual in texas but not sure.
Answers:
16 is the age of consent, but you can get the law to bring her back. She can't live elsewhere without your consent until she's legaly an adult. Just call cps.
You can't, however, send him to jail for being a molestor if that's what you want, because dating her is legal.
if they're related.
NO

You probably can't do anything b/c she's 17 but that 24 year old needs to find a woman his own age.it's kinda sick.
You can leave at 17, you can just pack a bag in just go!
I would check out about the 24 year old though cause she's not 18 right? If he was 18 or 19 than yes! But sorry idk about moving in with a 24 year old.
no it's still illegal because according to law you have to be 18 to live on your own and that 17 year old can go to juvenile jail if she gets caught as well as the 24 year old
