Will this investigation affect my contract?

I'm a contract worker and an incident occured a couple of months aback with some fellow employees we were all sent on vacation leave and now we have resumed duties.However, the organisation I am working for said they have not totally concluded their investigations and still need statements from the parties involved "stating that they has not gotten a statement as yet" ..However my immediate reporting officer has recommended me for another term of engagement as my contract ends in september ...do you know how this will play out!!

No, and no one can make any kind of determination based on what you just posted. What was the investigation about? How were you involved? If you did something that was investigated, it probably WILL affect your future employment.
