Can You do a Case without Due Process?

In the Matter of the Micheal Vick Case I think he Should've plead Guilty, this what Greg Biffle NASCAR DRIVER and Animal Rights Advocate Said today NASCAR racer and animal rights advocate Greg Biffle didn't mince any words when it comes to indicted quarterback Michael Vick: "I just wish they'd put him in jail and be done with it."
I'm Personally proud of Biffle for Taking a Stand against the Animal Cruelty Judicial Due Process, do we really Need Due Process in Court Cases and Why, Answer Please.

Answers:
Due process is a double edged sword. As a code enforcement officer we have to give people that commit violations due process. The reason we do is to give the person every possible chance to comply with the ordinances of the city. In short it's about being fair.

However, it can be a real pain in the rear, because we want to have the person be in compliance; and we also have a lot of people who call us and complain nothing is getting done and for the most part they don't care that its a process and it takes time; that is until they violate an ordinance and want the time to correct it.

Sadly, the answer to your question is no, due process is an essential to the judicial process. As for Michael Vick, I'd like to see a large cattle prod shoved up h is a s s when they lock his cell, assuming he even goes to prison.
yes we do, because its in the Bill of RIghts that ALL citizens have the right to Trial, right to Due Process of Law, a "speedy" trial, and a Jury by Peers.

Vicks is probably guilty, but on that same token everyone thought Michael Jackson was guilty of child molesting (probably because its become the Y2K version of a knock-knock jock), even though the jury found him innocent.

EDIT: in my book its pretty black and white. if your "not guilty" than you are "innocent". you cant be "kinda guilty" or "mostly innocent" you either are or you arent. saying otherwise just shows personal bias and that you wish he WAS found guilty.
I think you are a bad person who robs liquor stores and waves a gun. Off to jail with you!

What? You want a trial? You want me to actually PROVE you did something wrong??

Due process. Somewhere between the accusation and the penalty, we're expected to look for the truth.

Oh, and Conor? The jury didn't find Mr. Jackson "innocent". They found him "not guilty". There is an enormous difference between the two terms.
What is your question?

What do you mean by "do a case?"
Gitmo.

End of discussion.
The only time when due process need not apply, is in the case of a revocation hearing for parolees. That I know of anyway. And it is necessary, or else there'd be a lot more innocent people in prison ... which is bad ...
