Why does it take so long for ss diabilty to be approved in the stae of ohio?
it was a year in june we appealed with a lawyer and have a doctors statement saying he is totally disabled but still no answer the doctor is a specialist in the field

SSA does not have any say in the matter. A judge makes that decision. Could be he is backed up. Only a few judges in each state are appointed for this. Good luck. I had a friend that waited 3 years. They finally gave it to him after he turned 50.

b. cause there is so much fraud
c. because all the money is being spent over in iraq
The gov like taking your money but doesn't like giving it back!
