Who to go to when boss is verbal abusing you?
my boss has got it in for me. so he's doing alot to get me to quit or to fire me. im not going to quit and i do everything by the book. why is he doing this to me...i dont know but its WAR!

Document EVERYTHING - dates, times, places, exactly what was said or done, a list of witnesses to each event. Keep a journal with all this in it. Get a lawyer. Own him.
I had a boss that did it for over 16 years. The first few years were not too bad, but eventually abuse wears you down.
Your best bet is to find a different job/workplace. It is not worth it to stay.

BOSSES LIKE THAT ARE JUST REAL JERKS.
GO TO YOUR HUMAN RESOURCES AND MAKE A WRITTEN COMPLAINT. IF THEY DO NOTHING THEN CALL THE LABOR BOARD IN YOUR STATE.
DO NOT LET HIM GET TO YOU..JUST HANG IN THEIR AND DON'T QUIT.HE CAN LEAVE, NOT YOU.
try and find the number for the head office for your work or, likke your bosses boss. and grass him in
Who is your bosses boss? Is he the final authority? If he is you can seek help from your state employment office, or if you are really being harassed get other co-workers to witness the abuse, document it and then take it to an attorney for his advice or a future court action.
About 15 years ago I had a boss like that. We were working on an army installation out in the high desert. He kept messing with me for about 4 months. So one Saturday night when I was supposed to be back home for the weekend 3 hours away I waited for him at his motel room and we went for a drive out to the desert and I showed him a hole that I had dug in the ground. He was always critical of my work so I asked him how he liked it. After that little encounter me and him didn't have any more problems at work and we parted company at the end of the job and haven't seen each other since. Oh did I neglect to mention that the rest of the crew members that he had been abusing were there that night too. It was like overnight he became one of the nicest bosses that I had ever worked under. Funny how things work, huh? By the way I am THE ALL AMERICAN!!
Find a job elsewhere. Is it the way you dress? Ask him what you are doing wrong to get his attention badly?
