Is it ilegal to "attend" a dog fight.?

from vick's situation, although he did more than attend

Answers:
yes...it's likened to attending a murder and just watching.
that person can be charged as well.

example - here in california a man was sent to prison this week for driving drunk with his child in the car...he was in an accident and killed the child.so he is now in prison for killing his sone...
guess what?! his wife is nowgoing to trial for the similar charges...cause she knew he was drunk and did not stop him from driving with his son in the vehicle.

thanks for asking.

good luck
Yes.kind of like it's illegal to attend a bank robbery
ha ha! I love the answer about attending a robbery.

Anyway, if something is illegal, it's illegal. There are usually lesser charges for just attending and more serious for organizing and handling the dogs, etc. but it is still illegal to be there.
Yes. Its aiding and abetting, I think.
It makes you an accessory to a crime, if youre caught in a police raid of the dog fight most likely going to be found guilty. If you are implicated by one of your peers as having attended a dog fight then you can dispute that your didnt know what was going on like Mike Vick is doing. But its best to not involve yourself in illegal activities and know the people you surround yourself with
I don't think people who go to these fights do it for nothing other then to gamble, and that is why they have enacted laws in certain States similar to "guilty by association". They will arrest you for something other then cruelty to animals.
It entirely depends upon the state.

In some states it is illegal to attend.

In some states 'attendance at a dog fight' isn't addressed.

In some states (2) engaging in dogfighting is a misdemeanor, not a felony.
I think you would be an active participant in a felony.
