i need to know if this is against building and safety codes or it doesn't Matter, At a certain camp in california they have the camps kitcehn where all the food is stored and prepared for 100+ people is there suppose to be a working restroom facility for the workers to use to relieve them selves and wash there hands? So i guess my question is are all buildings that run a business or employs people do they have to have a rest room mainly a toilet?
i would truely appreciate all ligit answers.

Answers:
There is a law..mostly building codes that businesses must have a restroom and "place" to wash up for food handlers...but there is no law that says a person has a right to use the facilities other than there assigned break time.
of course this varies by state, but generally there must be a restroom available for employee use. there also must be one available for resturants as well.
Check your local city codes or state statutes for any details. That is where you will find the detailed answers you need.
Yes that should be against the health code not to have a working restroom with a sink to wash hands. I would report them into the health inspector. before someone get deathly ill.
Yes.The health department should be informed of this.
There ARE facilities available. This is not a code or health violation.
take industrial action, no place to pee no food for anybody, create a stirr over it,i dont know about the USA where workers are exploited with conditions and pittyful wages, but in australia there are minimim working conditions that must be provided by employers ie washrooms,NO Toilet no food i say!
